On the way to GalenaNice Winter climb with Spring like conditions. Climbed with SummitPost member forjan. Instead of climbing the headwall we climbed one of the steep chutes on the South side of Mill Creek Canyon. Fun day!

Very Cool AreaHave hiked in this canyon a fair amount. Looking to do more in the future. Love the waterfalls!

Up to GalenaHave gone the length of the canyon from the Vivian Creek trailhead to the Galena headwall. In 1999 (I think that was the year), I saw the creek swollen with tumbling boulders and tree trunks after a heavy and sustained mountain thunder storm. That was quite a sight!
