Parked at the bottom of the rough 4wd road that switchbacks up the west side of the peak. Cross country through the brush and pinyon and talus. Accidentally left my binocs at the summit (doh), but they were old and not super great quality to begin with, so whatever. 2 hours car to car. About 40 mins of driving time from end of pavement on Johnson Ln to parking spot on west side of the peak.

Mining side road off of Sunrise Pass Road brings you to a half mile below the summit. Loose slog up from there.

Standard RouteFrom Sunrise Pass, made a loop by tagging Peak 7080 on descent. Snow flurries while on upper reaches of the mountain.

Group of 10 - on snowTook a group of 10. We hiked up the east face, mostly on snow. Then descended the west face. About 8 miles round trip.
