Mini Jumping Spider - Araneae

Whilst having my foot in plaster after an accident being hit by a car on tuesday 25th May 2010 I was rather resricted to what I could do. I decided to take my camera into the garden and try a few macro shots of nature. This little jumping spider was on the side of the greenhouse.

I did have to startle the spider a bit by putting a twig in its path. I guess the look in its eye's really shows that...!
