Ascended it as part of a much longer treck over Snowdonia. On this day we had come over the Arenigs, grabbed Moel Llyfnant and headed down towards Llyn Bala. Managed to hitchhike the last few miles to the campsite in what must have been the only car on the roead all day. A great day in all.
I can only recall doing this one once. I had been asked by a friend to lead his men's group up route 4 and down route 1. Glorious day, slight breeze and hazy. The most memorable and slighty comical moment is of the sudden awareness that the group was no longer following my lead. Upon turning round they had stopped and were in the process of setting up a huge stove and full sized gas kettle for a brew. Fabulous

A nice clear day with some lovely blue sky. The only down side to the day was the very strong winds when out on the ridge.
