Great shot

Those clouds just seem to flow like water near the peak.

Re: Great shot

thnks Dean. I particularly like the way the cloud curls back on itself after its gone over the edge - just like an eddy in a stream. Just the same I suppose - but less dense!

A 4 am start pays off sometimes, even for someone as lazy as me!

Re: Wow!!

I guess I'll be missing this kind of views. I'm not into alpine starts unless I REALLY have to.
Great shot.

Don't know if

it's a bias or what but I find something all the more aesthetic about mountains from Britain and Ireland. There's something about the combination of shape and weather and plant life that just does it for me.

Re: Don't know if

I wholeheartely agree - I never tire of them, and there is a wonderful variety of scenery & weather. Each area seems to have its own particular character.
