Outstanding.....

Some sharp mountains and a beautiful nights sky.....outstanding capture to say the least. Summit Post could use more pictures like this one here. Happy Trails

One doesn't often see pictures like that! How did you manage to capture both the mountains and the stars in such a way?

I took several shots, with shutter times between 2 and 20 seconds. ISO between 400 and 1600. And a tripod, of course :-)
Extremely good weather, with clear sky and no wind. A lucky night, indeed...

causa ritiro del mio "socio", alla fine ho impacchettato tutta l'attrezzatura fotografica (un corredo digitale + uno grande formato 20x25) in 2 zaini e ho fatto un tour fotografico solitario sotto la nord della Tour Ronde, fino alla base del Grand Capucin. Una faticata... appena ho tempo pubblico qualcos'altro. Vedo invece che tu hai salito la Salluard : bravo! :-)
