So on you old days you have develloped from a valley photograph to a heavy packed mountaineer ! Respect!
I'm not so old... And now i'm carrying the heavy camera...
That is what I meant. I know this feeling ;-)
Canon EOS 33 with Tamron 28-75mm: 1190 g
Canon 70-200 mm: 730g
A large format Camera?
The Nikon Digital 70 is a small format camera 16x24 mm. It's less heavy -679 g- than the F100 -785g-.
The standard zoom 18-70mm weighs 390 g
The wide angle 12-24mm weighs 485 g,
The 180 mm weighs 765g ...
Did you sleep in the summit? Compliments!
I am glad to see you are finally climbing! Congrats!

Chapeau...tu étais le premier ? Quelles conditions ? Du monde ? Emm....ce type avec ses questions, mais on a envie d'y être . Merci pour la photo
Non, pas les premiers, mais nous ne sommes pas partis les premiers et on a fait un petit détour par le sommet du Dôme du Goûter.
Are you the same or his son? Really leaving the car and climbing on such high mountains? Congratulation!
For sure i spent less time in mountains than you did. But he first time i spent a night in a hut i was younger than 10 and i never stopped doing things in mountains since that time. In 2001, when i came back to photography, i was doing MTB in mountains. I like mostly mountains for aesthetic reasons and i don't prefer technical climbs. Anyway high mountains are attractive for aesthetical reasons too.
