I like this mountain, unfortunately we missed to climb it one day when we had an opportunity to do so.
I guess you will describe the ascent route as well. Don't forget to mention the rock formations "I libri di San Daniele" - or something like that. They should be somewhere along the summit ridge and quite attractive.
Regarding the connection trail Casso - Erto, we did it. It's some 1 h 30 minutes of walk, into Erto you descend considerably (some 200 m), but if the path would serve as a connection for Monte Borga round trip, you don't need to go just down in Erto. Otherwise I don't agree that the path is not attractive. It offers some nice views and when passing abandoned hamlets there is a special feeling of moving back in time.

The Libri di San Daniele are on Monte Piave, which is why I didn't post the reference here. There might be a page upcoming ...
