route climbed: east ridge and ferrata contin
The ascent has been long but the panorama from the top was really amazing: the sky was so clear that I could admire almost all the julian alps, the beautiful austrian glaciers, some of the dolomites and the always beautiful zermula and creta di aip. Beautiful green fields on the top: looking the steep walls from baita winkel you don't image that the top is like this.
There was still some snow but not on the ferrata contin which is easy but I enjoyed it very much.

Route climbed: East ridge (ascent), Via ferrata Enrico Contin (descent)
Long ascent using the East ridge route, no view due to fog (like always, when I hike in the Carnic alps... ;)), nice bell at the summit (the temptation to ring it is very high... ;)), fast & easy descent using the Ferrata Contin
Route Climbed: North face Date Climbed: November 12th, 2005
We found the North Face Route very interesting. Luckilly no snow or ice there. We expected then that the East Ridge Route would be easy to get down quickly, but turned out that it also required a lot of attention.
