A little spicier than most other peaks in the area. Good to have her done.

The Full Monte
We were not able to go straight up to the standard route due to a nasty moat. We were able to get on the face via a snow block about 30’ to the right. After about 10-15’ of climbing, we were able to shimmy left through a narrow passage between the face and a snow wall to rejoin the standard route.

Great conditions kept us on snow from Glacier Basin to the V-notch. Climbing starts on good rock and is fun, above that the scrambling is on poor rock but with excellent views.

U-Notch
Historical approach through abondoned town, mining relics along path, beautiful basin, no Sasquatch! Loose rock in both V & U notches, a magnificent view. Talus field better in snow.
