Montgomery Peak (in the back)...

Montgomery Peak (in the back) and Boundary Peak from the gravel approach road a few miles before the trailhead. The trailhead is located roughly where the valley bends left in the photo (left of the reddish rock at right center). The last mile or so of road is pretty bumpy and rutted as it skirts a marsh/pond/brushy area. Some people opt not to drive this part, but my Honda Civic made it. Photo taken May 29, 2002.
