I've seen the so called ''Inselbergen'' many times on Television (Westerns, Travel Channels) and I finally got to see this amazing place in person. A must see in my opinion. I have to go back someday. Unfortunately, Its not really close to Holland ;-)

Explored Monument Valley a number of years ago. Stayed at Gouldings and went horseback riding for a few hours throughout the monuments. Really an awesome experience. Especially for a John Wayne fan!

several tripsI visited Monument Valley several times - usually just driving through. A nice place to see, climbing no longer allowed.

Visited in 2000I don't think anyone climbs legally anyway! Well worth a side trip!
