This photo is breathtaking!! Uau what a shot!! Very nice! Well done Mathias!! Beautiful!
I remember that somebody shouted "look at the moon" and everybody ran out of the dining tent for catching his camera. The meal got cold but it was certainly worth it!
hehe, who cares about the meal at such moments Mathias! What an amazing photo!
I second Nelson that is a humblingly beautiful shot.
I have no words...shocking !
You found good timing on good place. Great ! ROK
Agree with you. Such a beautiful shot..
Could be photo of the week!
Congratulations! You must have really enjoyed the climbing. It's a great photo, deserve to be a cover of some climbing magazine.
What a great shot! Baruntse is the sun's last stand while the moon soars in the deep steel blue of the approaching night.
IMHO you would get more attention [...] if you did not post as much in that short time - I see what you mean, Mathias. Still I wouldn't be able to hide a shot like this from the SP-ommunity for more than a year!
Great photos of Baruntse!
glad that you like them!
I posted some more in the meantime.
You clicked the shutter at a great time here. The lighting, the tones, composition, contrast....what can I say ....except... I wish I was there. Joel
Must have been enjoyable to be up there, watching this show live... Oh my God, am I feeling jealousy ;-)
You've been to Nepal yourself. So I'm sure you also had some nice moments there!
That's partly a reason for my jealousy, but you're right Mathias. Can't forget the sunrise on the way up to Thorung La, for example...
What a wonderfull seight!!!
Right place, at right time. Awesom shot. Thanks for sharing!
