Summit in sudden storm!
In the company of my son Christoph & our local guide David, we started from Boval hut in pleasant sunny conditions. As we reached the summit ridge, we were engulfed in a very windy,wet snowstorm which forced us to rapidly head downhill to avoid a snow whiteout! The storm passed just as quickly so that the remainder until the Tschierva hut & beyond was easy going. However, rain returned upon reaching Hotel Roseg where a horse carriage awaited us for the 7 km ride to Pontresina in continuous rainy conditions. All in all, a very long day with dramatic weather changes!

Climbed the ridge in snowy conditions from Tschierva side. Snowshoes up until 3.500m were necessary. No views due to clouds but still a nice climb. Second time on this peak.
