Mother Shipton Moth

Mother Shipton (Callistege mi) is a day-flying moth from the Family Noctuidae. It is common in all of Polish mountain meadows that are sunny and full of wildflowers. Its wingspan is about 25 -30 mm. It flies in May and June, and the larvae feed mostly on Clover (Trifolium), Rumex, Vetches (Vicia), Burclover (Medicago) and Broom (Genista). Spinners Nature Preserve - Czarnorzeki - June 08, 2008.

I'm learning

from the pics you and Anya post to be more observant of what is around me when I am hiking. This is just an amazing picture, I
never would have seen the "beauty" in a moth as you have captured.
