Biglost would probably have mixed feelings about seeing this page "returned," but I'm sure he would prefer someone like you to be the author of it (and I may "return" some of his pages later this year).
He maintains a website with pictures and trip reports; please PM me if you'd like a link to it.
Thank you, your votes and comments are appreciated. It is indeed a neat area. That portion of Idaho has a real charm and I'm anxious to make a return visit to the area to visit some of the other peaks in the area.
If it hadn't have been for your post in the forum, I wouldn't have known that the original page was gone. I did have some good notes thanks to research I had done before doing this one. Dennis and I hit a bunch of stuff during a week in Idaho so notes
were important to stay on track. Have fun on your visit.
We hiked Little Elk Creek Trail on August 9. The scenery was beautiful. We only saw 2 other hikers whom we passed on the way down. We actually turned back after about 45 minutes because we lost the trail and ended up hiking on the dry river bed. I really wish the trail had been marked with somes blazes or signs. We saw only one sign and that was on the way down.
