From what I've heard and looking at your page Baldy is one of the best mountain-ish hikes in Michigan. Hopefully gas stays down so I can get up there this summer.

i can tell you i plan on heading up there plenty more times this summer and fall now that i found it and made it up there: it is completely worth it, the views are incredible! i think i wrote this somewhere, but it is like brockway without the road/people. perfect :)
