snowshoe

did this after sugarloaf. the new snow obscured any trail so I ended up with a short scramble just above the saddle. Not a bad way to spend a morning before hitting Octoberfest at Snowbird

First Summit

Climbed for a birthday party with a bunch of friends. Hiked from Hidden Peak down into Mineral Basin, then up to Sugarloaf Pass, then up the ridge--with some light scrambling--up to a nice summit. Great views, would recommend as an easy but worthwhile 11er!

Mount Baldy

Came over from Sugarloaf and right up the east ridge. The views of both Twin Peaks (American Fork and Broads Fork) are great.

Two-fer

After hiking Hidden (and seeing LOTS of people and construction), Baldy was such a nice quiet hike and no one was at the summit while we were there. After Baldy, we walked through the tunnel from Mineral Basin to Peruvian Gulch.

Cecret Lake to AF Twins

8 of us hiked from Cecret Lake up to Sugarloaf, over Baldy, over hidden and then to the "black rock" section of the knife-edge to AF Twins and ran out of time. The tram was closed for the season so we had to hike down Peruvian Gulch. Gorgeous Fall day.

Great day

Climbed up from Octoberfest, then down the back side, through the tunnel then back down again. The worst part was newly graded road near the bottom with loose rolling rock. The views from the summit are fantastic! Lots of other people hiking that day.
