Smoked out.Looks like you got to enjoy the smoke from the fires like I did while up there in Sept of 2011. I'm guessing this was the fire near Milford/Granite Peak?

As I was climbing Belknap, I was thinking about how you carried your bike up there and was very glad that my bike was in my garage.

Re: Smoked out.I planned on leaving the bike in the trees down by the saddle, but I ran into a couple local toothless wonders on 4 wheelers smiling at me there which coerced carrying it up. Scary, scary stuff down there!

With the current N.P. closures, surprised I
haven't left the country to enjoy coconuts
on some sandy, enchanted beach !
