Nice hike, winter-ish weather for Aug., a bit of snow from 12,000 feet up, great views.
Great scenic hike to the summit compounded by relatively big snow storm the night before given it's late Aug summer.
Niee warm-up for some other hiking in the Rockies.

Hiked with my father and brother in-law. Nice day out. Started at 6am. Made the summit at 7:50a.m.
Good views, and a clear morning. Clouds started to build up fairly early.
Climbed it from Summit lake, across Sawtooth ridge. Didn't see anyone else until we got to the summit, where there were about 20 people who were up there and had walked the standard route.
Standard route up - amazed at how popular and busy the trail was. Fun hike. Arrived in Denver from Bay Area at 8 PM the night before, didn't impact me as much as I feared but did feel a lack of energy. Worked well for acclimatization for additional 14ers later in the week.
Awesome climb with my daughter. It was her first 14er!
Snow Flurries on the Sawtooth Ridge :-)!!!!!
Hiked solo in < 20° weather. It was beautiful!
Cold and windy July day, wanted to do the traverse but only got Bierstadt.
My wife and I's first fourteener. Lots of people on the trail from Guanella Pass, but nothing could have been better than the beautiful, cloudless day we were able to enjoy.
We started around 6:45 (probably should have started earlier to avoid contributing to the large crowd). Made it to the summit and back in about 4.5 hours, including a decent hangout at the top to enjoy the view.
With Matt C. Great day. Skinned from Lower parking area. 3.5 hours to summit. 30 minutes to descend. Thick, heavy snow. Huge cornice on summit. Light wind except on summit ridge, when it was ~25mph.
had a calm, clear day on the mountain just before ski season
Standard route on a clear but breezy day. Packed snow on the trail, no showshoes required.
Parked at the TH on Saturday evening and hiked 1.5 miles up Bierstadt trail and pitched my tent. Summited Bierstadt the next morning at 8:35am the next morning before the crowd showed up. This was my first 14er and it was a very windy and cold summit.
First ever mountain I hiked. Start of an addiction.
Straight forward approach thanks to the boardwalk, did sawtooth on the way down.
Part of a Spalding, Evans, Sawtooth traverse.
