With CraigL. Getting ready for the Transrockies run. We used this route for some acclimating.
after getting blizzarded off the route post-democrat last time out, came back and hit CaLiBron.
'S' Gully was the most awesomest glissade! Super sustained, no obstacles and like the name suggest, curves for a wild ride.
Climbed with my buddy who is training to be a fireman. Great day out with him and we got Lincoln and Cameron (2nd time for me) as well!
Started around 6AM, just beating the crowds. Perfect conditions along the whole route. Bross of course is a scree filled route down. Lots of gorgeous wildflowers. Back at car around 10:45AM.
With Rachael, standard route up the southwest gully. Decent winter day, not too cold and not to windy. Not much snow either, no traction required.
Hiked in the late 90s, with the standard circuit of Democat, Cameron, Lincoln, and Bross.
Last stop on a four mountain loop.

Started early for good weather.
3rd day of a 4 day visit from CA - with the 3 14ers on the Decalibron I've now got more 14ers in Colorado (6) in 3 days than I have in 6 years in California (5).
Last summit of the Decalibron.
Democrat. Cameron. Lincoln, Bross, So. Bross, very windy.
Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln, and Bross, with Todd on a COLD, cloudy and windy day.
Last stop on the DeCaLiBron route. The weather was still beautiful and a pair of four wheelers came up from the mining road to join the climbers on top. Many thanks to the three plus one group of young hikers that took my picture and congratulated me on doing all four. The route down was a bit of a slog; if I did it again I would have done Bross first.
Last 14er of the day, and probably the least exciting. Still worth the walk over from Lincoln, just to say you did it.
Enjoyable day above 14,000'
From the Kite Lake TH in the typical clockwise manner with Democrat, Cameron and Lincoln being intermediate brief stops. 'Twas a wildly successful day.
Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln and Bross. Too good to be true.
Climbed 4 Colorado Fourteeners in one day! Slept in my Xterra, woke up at 4:30AM and hit the trail up Mount Democrat. Met up with 3 other hikers and traversed over from Democrat to Mount Cameron. We then continued onto Mount Lincoln and then finally onto the summit of Mount Bross. Arrived back at the trail head around 11:30AM.
