Route Description

Add Route Description text here. In addition to Fred Spicker's southwest ridge and west face variation you can also access this peak via an easy class III route across the south bowl.  Gain the ridge from the lookout just as you would for the southwest ridge route.  As soon as you attain that ridge look for an easy descent into the south bowl  Descend just far enough to traverse across the bowl below the cliffs guarding the summit.  After passing the lowest reach of those cliffs start ascending the broken slopes to the top of the east ridge.  From that ridge work your way west back to the summit.  This is a good descent route for anyone not wanting to retrace their steps on the other two routes.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
