#1 11-04-22 W/Lana. No summit marker. Took trail all the way back to the parking lot. Then drove to Pigeon Forge for a visit to Dollywood.

Tagged this summit (well, this ridge-bump) along with Clingman's Dome and Mts. Collins and Love on a beautiful, sunny, 40-degree day in February. Despite the season, there were several other hikers at the tower on the Dome. Buckley, however, was completely empty. Ah, solitude...

Next to the Highest in TN
Do not believe this is a distinct peak since the prominence is not big enough from Clingmans Dome. Did Collins, Love, Clingmans, Buckley trip among other combinations. Great view from bald area looking west and south.

Part Of A Hiking Trifecta!!!
I summited Mount Buckley, Clingmans Dome, and Mount Love all during the same hike. I enjoyed Mount Buckley, especially along the "Dome Bypass Trail", due to the lack of hikers (as compared to the hiking logjam at Clingmans Dome, for Memorial Day weekend).
