From Dawson Saddle  Sucess!

Bagged Throop, then bypassed Burnham on the PCT and headed up Baden Powell, then stopped back to tag Burnham on the way back to the car. I really enjoyed this stretch of the PCT and it was practically deserted on a Saturday morning. Nice day...

Went to Baden-Powell from Dawson saddle and hiked Throop and Burnham on the way there. Nice, cool day. Clouds obscured most of the view south though.

Second in a 5-peak loop dayhike. Barely worth calling a peak.

Route Climbed: Dawson Saddle June 10, 2004

Perfect Southern California day, at least in the mountains. Bagged Throop Peak first, then went on to Baden-Powell and bagged Burnham Peak on the hike out. 4 1/2 hours car to car.

The Bump  Sucess!

Burnham isn't too impressive and seems like a bump between Throop and Baden-Powell. I've hit it three times.

Route Climbed: From Vincent Gap  Sucess!

Vincent Gap to Mt. Hawkins. Bagged Throop, Burnham and Baden-Powell on the return. Early afternoon cloud cover helped keep the heat down on the return trip. Views were a bit hazy from this summit.
