With CraigL. Getting ready for the Transrockies run. We used this route for some acclimating.
after getting blizzarded off the route post-democrat last time out, came back and hit CaLiBron.
After Mount Democrat we went up Mount Cameron. The wind picked up quite a bit and the increased exposure near the summit was a bit sketchy. We ran into a mountain goat at the summit which made it all worth it!
Bagged it with Mt Democrat and Mt Lincoln and came down via disused trail previously used by miners way back. Had to be very cautious and alert all the way down.
Least prominent 14er?
Hiked up after Democrat, on the way to Lincoln. Pretty cool mountain, even though it isn't considered a real 14er.
Started around 6AM, just beating the crowds. Perfect conditions along the whole route. Bross of course is a scree filled route down. Lots of gorgeous wildflowers. Back at car around 10:45AM.
Hiked in the late 90s, with the standard circuit of Democat, Cameron, Lincoln, and Bross.
Third rock of four for the day.

Started early for good weather!
Pretty much missed it on the way to Lincoln. Rolling little climb and just a pile of rocks on top. Focused on Lincoln, looked much longer and taller than it was. Great day out!
Windy day high on the ridges
Democrat. Cameron. Lincoln, Bross, So. Bross, very windy.
Cold, cloudy day with Todd. Breckenridge time share week.
DeCaLiBron standard route. Bluebird day but I was slower than usual. Gave me time to appreciate the gentle slope down to Lincoln.
Mount Cameron is the little lump on the way from Democrat to Lincoln. Am I counting it as a 14er? I took the effort to climb up it, you bet!!
With Lincoln and Bross. Clear and breezy day with snow on the trail.
Enjoyable day above 14,000'
Might as well bag this when heading to Mt Lincoln from Mt Democrat. But the wind was most unsettling... However, this fact thins out the otherwise crowded conditions one finds on a normal 14er summit. :)
