Quick Hit  Sucess!

Tagged the summit from the highway, went partway down toward Old Emma, then back the way I came. No wind, perfect temps, snow on the high peaks.

Mount Emma use trail, Traverse to Old Emma down to the highway and back for the loop.   Sucess!

A bit of a cool breeze eased the standing heat for the day. Total sun exposure for the loop. Nice southerly views of the back country peaks for the San Gabriels.

Steep but Satisfying  Sucess!

Mistakenly ascended up P5100 but easily walked the ridge to Old Emma and then onto Mount Emma. Followed the old bulldozer road from north side of Mount Emma to the drainage/wash and then back to the road. 2400' of gain in a little under 6 miles. Added Cole Point also. Cool and windy with great views!

Windy!  Sucess!

Sustained 30mph winds with gusts up to 50mph almost blew me over a couple of times but made for clear views all around.
