FalconNice 9 mile round trip hike from the East TH. Busy day as it was fairly warm and there has not been substantial snow this season. Great views of Evans, the Divide and the Denver metro.

Fastest Known Time Down 19:2510/7/20
Summitted and then blasted down in 19:25 for the summit to trailhead record (5:05 per mile), also got the record from the picnic structure to trailhead in 12:22.
1/31/20 Ran up easy to moderate in mixed dry, icy, snowy conditions. Had to catch a flight so ran down fast but slipped on the ice and crashed hard about a minute off the summit. Still made it down in 22:42, but the shoulder is pretty busted up.

Mount FalconFebruary 1 2020
Today I climbed Mount Falcon from Morrison (eastern route). I made a figure 8 loop of the Castle, Meadow, Tower, and Turkey Trot trails. It was a nice day and a nice hike. It was a bit breezy, but the temperatures were not cold. The trail was icy in places, but there were no other difficulties. The views were really nice from the tower.
September 12 2015
Today I climbed Mount Falcon. I climbed from the eastern trailhead since it's more of a hike from that direction. I went up the Castle Trail, where I almost stepped on a rattlesnake that bluff(?) struck at me and rattled.
Along the way, I made side trips to the little summits of Walkers Dream, Two Dog Trail, Old Ute Trail, and Devils Elbow. Even though the summits weren't ranked, I wanted to visit them all.
In the summit area, I went up the Meadow and Tower Trails and down the Castle Trail. I had a nice break/lunch on top.
After that I descended the Castle and Turkey Trot Trails back to the car park. I figured I did just under 11.5 miles with all the side trips.

Castle/Meadow/TowerCMC hike. The original plan was to snowshoe Butler Gulch, but I-70 traffic was horrid, so we did Falcon instead. It snowed all day. We had a pretty good turnout (nine) despite the snow and crummy road conditions.

Short visit.I Made a short visit to its summit after checking out a few hiking routes near Morrison and Lair o' the Bear Park.
Found many hiking options in Bear Creek Canyon and Indian Hills as well.
