I was at a conference in Winter Park and after that, I woke up very early and hiked Colorado Mines Peak, Flora, Eva, Parry and Bancroft. What a lovely September day!

From Berthoud Pass
Had intended to go for Eva as well, but just as I hit Flora's summit, clouds rolled in, wind increased, it got cold quickly, visibility dropped, and I just decided not to make it a longer day in those conditions. Ran into Lynn Prebble on her 13er finisher with other members of the Ellingwood Society including Steve Gladbach.
Summitted again with Shawn 4/12/21.

Visited the summit of this peak 3 times during an out-and-back trip from Berthoud Pass to Bancroft. After hiking up CO Mines in the evening of the 21st I spent the night on the summit of Flora (amazing city lights and stars!), then continued on to Wittier, Eva, Parry, and Bancroft before retracing my steps back over Parry, Eva, and Flora over to Breckenridge, then back up Flora for the third and final time on return to Berthoud Pass. Would be great as a traverse if you can arrange a car shuttle at St Mary's Glacier - but this way was still fun!

Took my two year old daughter up this and Mines Peak from Berthoud Pass. Nice hike to an amazingly scenic summit.

Nice Easy Hike
I bypassed Colorado Mines and went straight for the Mount Flora summit. Good views of the higher 13ers to the north and the 14ers to the south. Good trail the entire way.
