Terrific Ski!  Sucess!

Skinned, booted up narrow chute to the ridge line from Lake Emerson. Changed shoes and skipped off to the summit. Challenging start of the ski in such a narrow spot but the snow below was fantastic!

From Lock Leven  Sucess!

This is a very striking peak--I'm surprised more people don't climb it. I climbed the chute furthest to the right (west) from the northwestern tip of Lock Leven. The chute topped-out just east of the lower summit. (The true summit is further south.) The entrance was probably 80-100 ft of class 4, then it was class 3. The rock was clean with excellent holds, until near the top where it got loose. I am not sure that there is a line up from Lock Leven that is class 3 the whole way, as it looks like all the chutes cliff out at the base. There's so many chutes on that face though, it's hard to tell. It was an excellent scramble overall. Reminded me of east face of Middle Pal. I highly recommend it!

I couldn't find a summit register. Maybe I didn't look hard enough....

Solo From Emerson Lake  Sucess!

Had a great time climbing and relaxing on this peak, which by the way is named Mt. George Davis according to the 1940 register book. Perfect crampon snow from Emerson Lake and super fun Class 3 blocks when the snow ran out. Opted to not go the droll Class 2 route. Snow chutes from Loch Leven look absolutely dreamy!
