Ran through Morrison up to Morrison Park and back and then up Glennon. Lots of fun scrambling on the way up. Last time I came up with the fam and we didn't make it all the way so I wanted to summit today. Running on that canted ridge can be brutal on the ankles/achilles though.
Stopped by on my way to Morrison. Nice morning hike near Denver. Windy along the ridge.
Snowy ridge walk with Sarah. A little treacherous with snow...and cactus.
Red Rocks looked SMALL!
Surprisingly fun little route up a pretty little peak in the snow. Nice late autumn views! Saw a little 2-pt buck with a right hind leg injury - sad sight to see this time of year.
Nice workout after work, beats gym for sure! Scrambled up to the ridge and hiked along the ridge, great spring afternoon.
Scrambled up by the Northwest Ridge. There were huge rock slabs on the way up, perfect for bouldering (saw some chock marks on the rock).
Hiked the whole ridge from north to south and got back the same way. A bit exposed in some sections and awesome views of the surroundings, including Denver in the distance.
Nice spring weather.
Hiked up on the trail then scrambled up to the ridge and hiked along the ridge. Good views of Denver. Gray clouds were coming over the front range as I finished up.
Hike the ridge from the north side. Not difficult, but harder than I expected. Last summer a fire burned up the eastern slope and I could still smell charred wood.
Later I hiked up point 7698 in Little Park.
Great peaklet. Wish someone hadn't stolen the BM.
Did not expect this to be such a rough time, but hiked to the summit. Did a cache nearby, too.
surprising front range peak. quick, easy jaunt to the summit ridge yet the ridge to the summit proper was a rough, time consuming scramble. the backside of the mountain on the descent was a thorny nightmare. an interesting hike to say the least!
Hiked this from the north after a quick hike up nearby Green Mountain.
Climbed Glennon from the north. Its good access and a decent hike/scramble. This is a nice afterwork ridge hike. I dropped down the west side through a gap and hiked back along the base of the west facing cliffs which was a nice detour.
With 7602 & 6262.
Started from a trailhead that ended, then followed a trail-like path to the summit. I was surprised that the terrain was so rugged and dangerous, especially after a snow storm.
