Cool page Fred!

Been wanting to hit that one this year (Stur Chimney) but did not get around to going back to the Sawtooths the 2nd time. Please feel free to take any/all ranger contact info. or any other info. from my Warbonnet Peak page.

Are you thinking of putting up Finger of Fate or Elephant Perch in the near future? They'd be a great addition to SP!

Fred,

check out this link to see if you wish to add it to your page. It has (among others) a topo for a couple routes on the West Summit as well as a nice route photo for Stur Chimney route:

Radek,

Thanks for the vote. The site that you recommend is the source of the trip reports that I link to in Routes Overview, and I added it as a link by itself.

Heyburn is the only peak that I have done in the Sawtooths, but I would sure like to go back!

Thank you for the vote and the kind words.

Yes, the Stur Chimney is loads of fun - too bad that it is only two pitches!

You get around a lot - have you climbed in the Sawtooths?

No, but like many other ranges, it's on the list.

Thank you for the vote. I agree, SP is very light on Idaho mountains which is too bad. There are a lot of great ones there.

Thank you for the vote. Do you ever get over to the Sawtooths?

Not yet. Would like to. One of my best friends lives in Spokane and we like to try to do one or two trips a year (attempted Granite Peak and did Devils Tower this year). I'm sure we will get over there sooner or later. Some really nice peaks there.
