Meeker via the loft, Longs via Clark's arrow, down the keyhole, across the boulderfield and up Lady Wash. About 7300 ft. vertical. Sweet loop in under 11 hours.
From the Boulder Field aimed left of the camel. Came down north ridge to rejoin trail above Granite Pass.
Seems like a bunny slope next to that monolith we call Longs
Hiked all three from the Longs Peak Trailhead. This was one of my best hiking days. The views of Longs Peak were awesome.
Lots of bouldering toward the top of the East ridge. This is quite the workout. Great views!
Martha was still in winter conditions and was mostly just deep, soft snow. Luckily Mike N broke trail but climbing still involved thigh deep wading through snow.
Climbed in winter conditions via Martha. Martha had deep, steep snow. The 2 ice cruxes were not hard but required some thinking. Descended via eastern slopes. There is a lot of snow up there. A fracture line could be seen on Flying Dutchman.
W/ L. Langhorst and C. Treiber via East Slope - Amazing views from summit.
With Pierson Mountain & Lions Head.
Went to the park to attempt Longs, but there was still too much snow so I decided to head up Mt. Lady Washington. Great views from the summit!
Lady Washington is just a big pile of rubble, but you get great views of Meeker and Longs, two beautiful peaks.
It was really windy when we climbed - - gusts over 35 mph on the summit, I'd guess (it was difficult to stand up).
High winds and lack of sleep convinced me to save Longs for another day. Nice consolation prize.
Hiked by myself on a Thursday on a day off from work. I had it to myself. The views of the diamond and Meeker are awesome- almost as good as my nap on the summit! I brought along snowshoes but didn't use them. I recommend starting early and leaving them at home if you are going now.
Did this couple of times over the years, both in May. Freezing cold up high but had an incredible view of Longs. Fun hike
Hiked this solo in winter of 2007 and was blown off my feet at the summit. nice view of the Diamond.
A solo summit on my birthday. pretty nice!
After climbing Storm Peak, I thought I might as well do Mt Lady Washington as well. I thought it amazing how easy it looked from Storm Peak, but there really is a lot of boulder hopping to do to get to the summit.
After a trip up Longs Keyhole route was denied by high winds combined with cold temps, our new objective became Chasm View and then Mt Lady Washington. We came short of reaching Chasm View but did get a view into the Chasm Lake Cirque, then traversed up the ridge to the both summits of Mt Lady Washington, then down the east side. The east side is very steep. This is a great alternated if turned away from Longs due to high wind and cold weather. The summit of Mt Lady Washington was also very windy.
