always a treat
Climbed it last in '07 from the Falling Waters Trail, one of several times that I've done it. The views from the top have always been amazing, but it was crowded during Labor Day Weekend.

Flume to Lafayette and back
Weather wasn't cooperating which was a bit anti-climactic, but a fun 17 mile walk nonetheless.

Well...I've HEARD it's really pretty out there...I'll just have to use my imagination...socked in right from the start. Oh well...at least the trail was awesome!

From Lafayette
This was a neat peak! I really enjoyed the traverse and being able to see where we came from (Lafayette) and where we were going (Little Haystack, Liberty, Flume). Beautiful views that seemed endless!

The Loop
Did it as part of the loop, heading north, what a fantastic hike. Not a cloud in the sky with views for 120 miles.

Mount Lincoln
Climbed with Little Haystack and Lafayette via the Falling Waters Trail from Franconia Notch. One of the best hikes in the East. Had great views of Franconia Notch to the West and the Pemigewasset Wilderness to the East. Suprisingly small number of people out today even on some of the most popular trails in the Northeast and on the day preceding the Columbus Day Weekend no less.
