Looks like you had less than optimal weather, but were able to do something. Our approach to climbing anything in Canada is Plan A (what you want to do), Plan B (what you can do under almost any conditions) and Plan C (the bar in Banff). After what it takes to get to the hut, it's good to know about some Plan B options!
