I never did summit Lyn Lowry, since I couldn't figure out where the trail was from Waterock Knob. Looks like a nice peak, except for that stupid metal cross on the top.
Did you ever go back? FYI, if you go left at the start of the last set of stairs before the summit of Waterrock Knob, in about 20 steps you'll come to a junction. Turn left (the other trail just goes to the top of Waterrock Knob) and walk about 15 steps. There's an obvious left turn which doesn't lead anywhere. Push straight ahead through the pine thicket and you'll find the trail to Lyn Lowry. Someone has recently reribboned the trail.
