Great hike with 360 degree visibility and fantastic weather. Buggy down below (bug nets were a nice touch).

Rocky One!
Hiked in May 2005 via the popular White Dot Trail. Returned via the White Cross Trail. Very rock the whole way. 2 miles round trip. Big views at the top!

Great fall day
I've never seen so many people on a trail before, windy on top but great views.
A good climb, didn't take very long but the view was great

Amazing
I hiked up Monadnock via the Pompeli (sp?) trail with my wife. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed that route and mountain. Amazing place... can't wait to go back.
A moderately challenging but incredibly enjoyable and rewarding hike with beautiful views, kind people on the trails, and a great vibe on the mountain. White Dot/White Cross were crowded, and I'd love to explore Monadnock again from some of the less popular trails.
Climbed with my wife and my father. Ascended via White Dot and descended via White Cross routes.
Hike started out on a foggy weekday and unbelievably, we had the mountain almost to ourselves. Saw only two other groups of hikers all day and the sun came out as we reached the summit cone.

White out
Climbed through the ice. Pretty stormy/windy/cold at the top, but really cool ice formations on the rocks! I could only stay at the top for about a minute since the wind was so strong. Good time to climb it in isolation though since there was hardly anybody else on the trails.

Mt Monadnock
Climbed to the summit in a nice drizzle, which made a lot of the rock rather slippery. My cousin from Chelmsford accompanied me. He must have been 10 years old at the time. Some of the rock was very fun to boulder around on as it is of excellent quality.

Hooked after the first time
My girlfrind, now my wife, took me on my first hike and it was a beautiful clear day. Went up the white dot trail which was easy to follow. The feeling of reaching the top was better than I had imagined and now I'm hooked!

Route Climbed: White Dot
Hiked Monadnock twice on two different routes. It is best to explore all that the trail system here has to offer, as there are trails of varying difficulties and lengths that are serendipitous in nature.

Mountain proposal
My husband and I hiked to the summit on New Year's Day. He had proposed to me on the mountain Dec 2011, so we went up for a reunion hike. Very different than last year, minimal ice but extremely strong winds at the top!

Moonlit night
No one on the trail but me. Seventy minutes up, seventy five minutes down. Clear skies and beautiful. I think I've done around thirty ascents since this was one of my favorite training mountains when I lived forty minutes away in Lyndeborough NH.

First High Point
Great experience. Hiked the White Dot Trial up to the summit. My wife and son enjoyed McDonalds Breakfast Burrito's on the summit before we returned to the base via the White Cross Trail.
