The time to climb Morgan  Sucess!

10/01/18 with Ryan Stadheim

Super fun ascent in winter conditions. Approached from Cut Bank Ranger Station and paired with McClintock on one of the windiest days I've ever experienced in the park.

Fun routefinding  Sucess!

Pittamaken, Morgan, Flinsch, Dawson. Interesting route finding. Always a pleasure to find even 30 feet of solid rock in Glacier.

Sweet Chockstone  Sucess!

near the top, right below a tricky class 3 or 4 move. It was a long hike through Dry Fork/Pitamakin to the pass, but quite worth it for the views of the Nyack. I was very surprised when reading the register how seldom this mountain is summited!

Not quite

Got to within about 300-400 feet of the top with John Ellis on a cold, windy and white out day. Visibility was too crappy to continue. Nice hike up the valley, kind of long.

Lots of good hucks on the way back.

Agree with the others about rock quality, classic GNP gravel.

Other routes  Sucess!

Date likely wrong. Scouting around that cliff barrier I found a few promising spots up, but not without rock shoes and a spotter at very least. For descents you'd want rope certainly. I did not cover 100% of the mountain but it is pretty difficult to get to the summit, and the view improves very little from the goat trail and passes. Only for "completists".
