We started at the road junction just N of North Point at 2800' where the road going E is bermed. We hiked the road for less than a mile to where a saddle on the ridge nearly dips to the road elevation. From that saddle we took the trail and then easily hiked the trail to the peak. This route provides more ridge hiking and less elevation gain than the standard route although it is a bit of a longer drive to the TH.

Mount Muller Loop Trail
I celebrated my birthday with the ~13-mile loop of Mount Muller. A storm hit the mountain while I was on the ridgetop, but the thick forests helped keep much of the rainfall from reaching me. I wish I had experienced nice weather for some views, but the trail was quite peaceful and enjoyable all the same.
