Mount Nimbus heads up...

Mount Nimbus heads up Oppostion Basin in May of 2005. The Never Summer Range gets blasted with snow, especially the east side. You can expect wintery conditions well into June, which is good if you don't like hiking on chip rock, like me.

Never Summer winter!

Mr. K,

Heading up to Grand Lake next weekend and wanted to take Jr.(13yrs old) up in the Never Summer's "shoeing", is that how you hiked the spring pic's you have posted!? We have been snow shoeing in the Black Canyon Nat. Park these last few weeks!! Amazing stuff..
