Fabulous Views
Great views for not too much work. Winds were vicious the day I went and I nearly got frostbite every time I took off gloves for a picture, but I kept taking more pictures. Go past the summit on an arm out to "Easter Island" for a slightly more challenging day and more rewarding. I will have a trip report up soon if you want the details.
Had big plans to Climb GTTS and Matahpi, but had an even BIGGER night! Still wanting to climb, just not feeling so hot, Colin and I headed for Oberlin. What a great alternative! Great, easy day! The beer we hid in a snowbank on the way up was very rewarding on the way down!

Good first time for some
took my wife to be around the north side to a small chimney and went to the top from there. The exposure was too much for her and she froze up halfway up the chimney. She married me but never climbed another mt!:(

A first
This was my first peak in Montana and first peak in Glacier National Park. Started at around 1:00pm, got to the top at 2:45pm (we weren't going too fast). Awesome views on top! Some girls on the top brought PBR and they had extra (Montana hospitality?). I then went to scramble over down to the ridge to the lower summit. Awesome views and some cool exposure. Amazing little peak!

1st Glacier NP peak
Started up the snow towards the ridge, but without crampons and ax soon retreated down to the bowl and took the trail up to the ridge. Came down the trail past the water tanks. Nice trail, great views on top. Got to see bighorn sheep and a few mtn. goats on the snow. Climbed with Smiley.

Again, with the kids
Took an easier scramble route this time (no exposure) from the saddle with 5 of our kids. It was their first peak summit ever!

they're all great
Loved the route! Followed the trail up to the saddle between Clements and Oberlin, and scrambled up to the top from there. Tons of snow still remaining around Logan Pass. Crystal clear skies on our 11am summit view. Descent was fun - nothing like a 300 foot glissade on the last day of July!
Also climbed on the evening of August 30, 2012. 1 hr 5 mins up, 40 mins back to car. Beautiful, cloudless evening.
