On the Wapta traverse.
Climbed during Yam course. Did this one and St. Nicholas same day.
it was cloudy as hell and you couldn't see a thing...until we got to the summit and the sun came out
I also climbed Olive with Yamnuska on a beautifully clear August day. Reasonably strenuous for a city boy from Ontario, but thoroughly enjoyable.
I love olive oil.
Minor whiteout conditions when we summited, couldn't get a good view, just of the mountain itself. Fun climb nonetheless.
Climbed Olive hungover from some serious partying at the Bow Hut the night before. Thank god its short and sweet from there! Beautiful summit.
I climbed Mount Olive while on a introductory mountaineering course with Yamnuska. It was awesome being out on the Bow Glacier and the Wapta Icefield. Great views from a beautiful mountain.
