Via the Crawford Path. Beautiful crystal clear day and about 20 degrees at the base. The trail was pretty well packed so we opted to not use the snow shoes. Post holed a few times though. Windy at the summit. Decided to strap on the snow shoes and head down the loop trail to the look at the hut and ran into new, powdery, very deep, unbroken snow on the trip down. It was slow going, but we made it back just at dusk.

Re-rename it Clinton

Presidential Traverse
Came up the Crawford Path as part of a South to North Presidential Traverse. Good views, only really good views of the hike as after this the peaks were in the clouds for the rest of the day.

A beautiful, sunny day on the Presidential Range. Much different from last year's hike, when all we could see is fog. This was the days' first summit on the way to Eisenhower, then Washington. Two geological markers identify this summit, which had great views of Bretton Woods, the Mt. Washington Hotel, and the Presidential Range itself.
