Photos of Mount Rainier taken during a June 2011 ascent of the Disappointment Cleaver route i did with a couple freinds. We ascended to Camp Muir late in the day and got into our tent around 2 AM, just as the guided parties were leaving for the summit. We left for the summit around 5 AM, and after a ridiculous, miserable struggle(we were all completly out of shape at the time) we made it to the top. On the descent we had a breif whiteout, but later had a beauteful cloud deck below us. Unfortunatly I was so exhausted at the time, that I was blind to the world. I hope to climb Rainier again when I am in better physical condition, I assume it would be much more enjoyable.
