I know we climbed it...  Sucess!

Less than 6 months later I don't remember it....Pretty much an unremarkable hike compared to others we did that trip.

Early Winter Climb  Sucess!

Tracked snow to the summit. I didn't even bring snowshoes but I would not have needed them. The snow was about 6-8 inches deep at the top. Next good snow should make snowshoes necessary. Beautiful colors and snow covered mountains all around.

Smoky day  Sucess!

Thought I had already signed this, but apparently not... Did it yesterday and there was still a lot of smoke from fires which severely limited visibility to about 2 miles or less due to sun glaring off the smoke. Could barely see Mt. Daniel as the sun left that part of the sky later in the day, but it was a nice colorful sunset on the way back to the car.

Awesome Hike!!!  Sucess!

I couldn't believe how many huckleberries were along the slopes of Mount Sawyer. Several bear droppings and/or cougar droppings were passed at various locations along the route. I came across several ptarmigan groups, which made quite a ruckus at my appearance.

Very scenic hike. Highly recommended!!!
