Tough hike after the other two summits. Impressive summit shelter with amazing views.

Very last minute decision. I heard about the Lyrid meteor shower and thought I might car camp, watch the show, and get a peak or two in. Didn't see a single meteor! But did summit Peerless, Sheridan, Sherman, and White Ridge.

Better than Sherman!
We tackled Sheridan before heading over to Sherman (and Gemini). Whereas you could see a total assembly line of people trudging up Sherman, we had the mountain completely to ourselves over on Sheridan. Pretty easy 13er to knock off the list, and the reward is awesome, as you get amazing views at the summit.

Nice snow
Storms builing over Collegiate Peaks to the west early. Picked right mountain range this day. Hiked to saddle with woman from Keystone. Went to Sheridan alone and had it to myself. Great glissades down to saddle, then small one to valley floor.

After Sherman.
Nice views. Met a couple who forgot their camera, so they gave us their e mail address and my brother took a summit photo of them. E mail address didn't work, which is really too bad.
Ferocious winds today! Got this then headed over Peerless & Horseshoe.

Iowa Gulch Circuit
Started from the Iowa Gulch TH, up Sheridan, Sherman, Gemini Pt, and Dyer Peak. 3:10 car to car, a nice morning jaunt on the ridgeline, all class 2 and below.
