Very interesting!

Hello,

It seems pretty accurate, although I've never been to Goat Peak. The closest to this angle I've seen is from Tomyhoi Peak, and it is very similar from there.

One thing I notice is that Nooksack Tower doesn't show up quite right. It renders the top of the tower, but buries the wall in snow. The contours of the tower don't even seem to be there. But all in all it's a pretty amazing rendition!

Thanks for posting this!

Re: Very interesting!

It's actually called Goat Mountain, not Goat Peak--slight difference but it helps when you're looking it up in a guide book (ala Beckey CAG). Summit elevation is 6,891 ft. This picture shows Goat Mountain from Shuksan (i.e., looking the other way).
