Hey Radek, did you know that Mt. Stone is the highpoint of Mason County? You may be a county highpointer and just didn't know it : )

I'm planning on nailing Mt. Stone next summer.

....hmmmm, county highpointing - I can definitely see the appeal of that. Actually Bob mentioned (in his log entry I think) that he did this one as part of his county highpoint quest. Think you'll really enjoy this mountain - make it an overnighter and do Mt. Skokomish as well (which we unfortunately did not do yet). It's not a county highpoint, but you'll be able to get a nice overview shot of Stone from that one. The area is beautiful!!

I forgot to mention what a nice photo this is. Bob is the one who got me into county highpointing. I've never had more fun than I have this year. Next year will be even better with the likes of Baker, Glacier Peak, Stone, Jefferson (oregon) and others. Nothing beats the mountains. : )
