Evans/Spaulding cirque traverse
Climbed Spaulding via the trail from the south after climbing the Nirth Ridge if Evans. Aesthetically rewarding but was bitter cold and VERY windy. Climbed with ndriley.

Started from Echo Lake at 4:45 a.m. Summited Spalding by 8:30. It was a beautiful day with amazing views all around. Still some snow on the slopes coming up from Summit Lake.

Great Day on the Mountain!
Trail run to Mt. Evans from Summit Lake over Spalding and back down. Moved well and did it in 3.5 hours. Awesome views and fun scrambling. I might have a new favorite!
Climbed from Summit lake on the way to get Mount Bierstadt via the Sawtooth route. Climbed Evans by the west ridge on the way back.

Had a few hours before flying back to Denmark, so made a 5 hour roundtrip: Guanella Pass - Mt. Spalding - Mt. Evans - Sawtooth summit - Guanella Pass. I had planned to do Sawtooth Ridge and Bierstadt but ran out of time. Weather started out wet and foggy, but ended up being quite ok.
