Mount St. Nicholas from Six Mile Peak

Line of sight to St. Nicholas crosses over the Hungry Horse Reservoir and a portion of the Great Bear Wilderness and is more than 25 miles away in distance. Photo taken on June 26, 2008 by FlatheadNative. Also in the photo to right (South) of St. Nicholas are: Salvage Mtn and Sheep Mtn. To the left (North) of St. Nicholas are: The Cloudcroft Peaks, Peril Peak, Eaglehead Mtn, Mt. Pinchot and the lofty Mt. Stimson. The mountains in front of the named mountains are part of the Flathead Range where on the far left is Great Northern Mountain.
