Fun hike in rain and snow, but freezing up top and no view :(
Hiked up from Stinson beach 14.4 mile round trip
Nice five miles or so of hiking, until new boots got uppity.
Beautiful clear day in the Bay.
staple North Bay hike
Sometime in the spring if I'm not mistaken .. probably a few other times.
Hiked from Mill Valley to the top with 35#'s on my back. Hot day but lower half is shaded!
Hiked from the top parking lot with the wife, also did a short looped hike around the the summit. AMAZING panaramic view of the Bay Area.
Climbed it by the most direct route with friends. This mountain means a lot to me as this is where I got my first taste for hiking that inspired my adventure in backpacking and mountaineering.
I often tell people that if I could marry a mountain this one would be it!
Great Winter hike to get the blood flowing. Cataract Falls trailhead is an excellent starting point to bag this peak! Photos here: http://www.meetup.com/Wildcat-Adventure-Club/photos/515173/
easy hike, great views.
parked in east parking lot, now $8.00. but can park just outside, the walk isn't that far.
35 min up via Fern Creek trails from Mountain Home Inn. Ran down the railway grade.
4-th time on the summit. This time all the way from Stinson Beach. Very nice hike. Our freinds got lost on the way up and we spent some time looking for them. Next time they should try to keep up with me if they don't know where we are going.
Up first in 2002 and again in 2005. Was my first summit in CA after moving there.

Hiked this one starting lower down to the West and traversing north of the massif ridge. I have plans to come back and hike this one properly - bike from SF and hike it from the valley. Maybe this summer?
From the north side via Lagunitas Lake is a pretty steep grade. Nice hike!
Beautiful day in the Bay Area today.
I've been here twice. The first time at night. Second time with Dean.
